Policy version: CRP-2026-10-16-V3
Effective date: October 17, 2026
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to non-membership services purchased from Anacapa Commerce LLC, doing business as The AMZ Specialist.
AMZ Specialist Access membership billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms are governed by the separate AMZ Specialist Access Membership Terms.
Nothing in this policy limits a cancellation, refund, or other right that cannot lawfully be waived.
1. How to request a cancellation, reschedule, or refund
Send requests to laura@themarketplacespecialist.com.
Include:
- your name;
- the email address used for the purchase;
- the service purchased;
- the purchase or booking date;
- the scheduled session time, if applicable; and
- a brief description of your request.
A request is treated as received when it arrives at that email address.
2. Amazon Ads Performance Audit: $995 one-time
You may cancel the Audit for a full refund before substantive review work begins.
Substantive review begins when The AMZ Specialist starts examining or analyzing your Amazon account data, reports, campaigns, listings, submitted materials, or other information for the purpose of preparing findings or recommendations.
Administrative steps such as processing payment, scheduling the engagement, requesting access, or confirming receipt of materials do not by themselves count as substantive review.
Once substantive review begins, the $995 fee is nonrefundable because professional review time and delivery capacity have been committed.
If The AMZ Specialist cannot complete the Audit, you will receive an appropriate refund for the portion not delivered. If no substantive work was delivered, you will receive a full refund.
Delay in providing required information or access may delay the Audit.
3. 60-Minute Strategy Sessions
This section applies to the $299 public Strategy Session and the $249 Strategy Session available to active AMZ Specialist Access members.
You may cancel or reschedule without charge when your request is received at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. For a timely cancellation, you may choose a full refund or a rescheduled appointment.
A cancellation or rescheduling request received less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time is nonrefundable. A missed session or failure to attend is also nonrefundable. The AMZ Specialist may make an exception when circumstances reasonably warrant it.
If The AMZ Specialist cancels the session, you may choose a rescheduled appointment or a full refund. If technical problems attributable to The AMZ Specialist materially prevent the session, it will be rescheduled or refunded.
If you arrive late, the session ordinarily ends at its originally scheduled time.
4. AMZ Specialist Access
AMZ Specialist Access membership fees, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and membership termination are governed by the separate Membership Terms.
Cancelling Access does not automatically cancel a separately booked Strategy Session. Cancelling a Strategy Session does not cancel Access.
5. Amazon Performance & Growth Blueprint
The standard Blueprint price is $2,495 one-time. The introductory launch rate is $1,995 for the first three qualifying paid engagements, subject to eligibility confirmation before invoicing.
The accepted Blueprint scope confirmation states the payment, commencement, cancellation, correction, scheduling, and refund terms for that engagement. Submitting an inquiry does not reserve introductory availability and does not create a payment obligation.
6. 45-Day Efficiency Reset
The Standard 45-Day Efficiency Reset is $3,995 one-time and is governed by the accepted Client-Specific Scope Confirmation and the exact Standard Reset Service Terms Addendum identified in that confirmation.
The approved allocations are:
- $600 for the Implementation Plan;
- $2,400 for the client-specific implementation work packages allocated in the approved plan; and
- $995 for the complete written final performance-review and handoff package.
These allocations determine earned amounts only under the accepted Reset documents. They are not à-la-carte prices.
Reset refunds are cash-based. The cash refund equals cash actually paid minus allocations properly earned under the accepted Reset documents, with a minimum refund of $0. The $500 Audit-to-Reset credit has no cash value and does not reduce the gross service allocations.
If a material scope mismatch results from The AMZ Specialist’s own scoping error despite accurate, complete, and timely client information, prevents the agreed service from proceeding, and no mutually acceptable revised scope is reached, the provider-error full-refund rule in the accepted Reset documents controls. That rule overrides ordinary milestone retention.
The undisputed refundable cash balance is initiated to the original payment method within five business days after effective cancellation or closure. A temporarily pending amount may not exceed the unresolved allocation or cash still held, whichever is less. If that amount later becomes refundable, its refund is initiated within five business days after resolution.
The included handoff session, booking notices, expiry rules, provider-failure remedy, correction obligations, cancellation closeout, lost-access procedures, and other Reset-specific protections are governed by the accepted Reset documents. Nothing in this public summary changes Reset agreement V2.
7. $500 Audit-to-Reset credit
An eligible Amazon Ads Performance Audit customer must request Reset scoping within 30 calendar days of Audit delivery. After The AMZ Specialist delivers the scoped Reset proposal, the client has seven calendar days to complete the purchase using the credit.
The credit applies only to the same business and Amazon account reviewed in the Audit. It is one-time, non-transferable, has no cash value, cannot be combined with another discount or credit, and is unavailable if the Audit is refunded, reversed, or charged back. Except for the provider-error exception below, it applies only to a Standard Reset and not to Amazon Ads Management, Full Amazon Account Management, the Blueprint, or another service.
Ordinary restoration after a full refund does not renew the original credit expiry, so the restored credit may already be expired. The credit is consumed when the $600 Implementation Plan allocation is earned, subject to the provider-error restoration rule.
When the provider-error full-refund rule applies, the credit is restored and the client has 30 calendar days from written refund confirmation to request a corrected proposal. The original expiry is extended for the time lost from purchase through refund confirmation. If the request is timely, provider delay does not cause the credit to expire. The credit remains usable until the later of the adjusted original expiry or seven calendar days after the corrected proposal is delivered.
Only in this provider-error situation may the restored credit apply to a corrected Expanded Reset quote. If no suitable corrected service can be offered, the client is notified and the request is closed. The credit still has no cash value, and closure does not reduce the full cash refund.
8. Amazon Marketplace Projects
Amazon Marketplace Projects are provided under an accepted proposal or statement of work. That agreement states the final fee, payment schedule, scope, cancellation rights, completion rules, and refund treatment before purchase.
9. Amazon Ads Management
Standard is $2,000 per service month plus a $750 one-time onboarding fee and has a three-service-month initial commitment. Custom scope is quoted individually.
Monthly fees are billed in advance on the service-start anniversary. A partial first period is prorated only when expressly agreed in the accepted proposal.
The $750 onboarding fee is earned when the complete onboarding package has been delivered and documented. If the engagement ends before that event, the genuinely unearned onboarding amount is refunded. Verified provider-attributable defects are corrected without another onboarding fee.
Unused monthly Setup/Rebuild capacity does not roll over, reduce a later fee, or create a cash credit. Provider-delayed work is rescheduled and is not treated as expired client capacity.
The client may send cancellation notice during the initial commitment, but termination cannot take effect before the commitment ends and remains subject to the notice period. Ordinary cancellation does not eliminate payments due for the initial commitment. No separate early-termination penalty applies.
After the initial commitment, cancellation requires 30 calendar days’ written notice and takes effect at the first service-month end occurring on or after the notice period expires. With calendar-month billing, notice received April 10 ends service May 31.
Ordinary cancellation effective at a service-month end does not create a separate refund for individual unused packages. Completed work and usable in-progress work are provided without an additional closeout fee.
10. Full Amazon Account Management
Full Amazon Account Management is offered as Core from $4,500 per service month, Growth from $6,500 per service month, or a Custom quote. The accepted proposal confirms the final fee and scope.
Monthly fees are billed in advance on the service-start anniversary. A partial first period is prorated only when expressly agreed in the accepted proposal.
Onboarding and transition are included in the monthly fee and do not create a separate onboarding charge. They replace one Standard listing or creative execution package during the first service month. Other included management, advertising, catalog and operations capacity, reporting, and meetings continue as stated in the proposal.
Unused monthly capacity does not roll over, reduce a later fee, or create a cash credit.
11. Management suspension, termination, and daily proration
The AMZ Specialist may suspend affected work or close a Management engagement for nonpayment, loss of required access, unlawful or Amazon-prohibited instructions, a material client breach, abuse or threats, a material security risk, or repeated failure to provide required decisions after written notice.
When the issue is curable and not urgent, the client has five business days after notice to cure it. Immediate limited action may be taken when reasonably necessary to address an urgent security, safety, legal, platform-policy, or uncontrolled-spend risk.
The client may terminate for a material provider breach that remains uncured five business days after written notice, unless the breach cannot reasonably be cured.
If The AMZ Specialist closes the engagement, including closure for client breach, or the client terminates for The AMZ Specialist’s uncured material breach, the unused prepaid recurring service for the affected service month is refundable by daily proration.
The daily recurring rate equals the prepaid recurring monthly fee divided by the number of calendar days in that service month. The refundable unused-service amount equals that rate multiplied by the calendar days after the documented effective service-end date through the end of the prepaid service month. The result is rounded to the nearest cent.
This calculation applies only to the recurring monthly fee. The separate Amazon Ads Management onboarding rule in Section 9 controls that fee. Full Amazon Account Management has no separate onboarding fee.
Any separately owed contractual amount must be independently identified and supported under the accepted agreement. It is not created by treating unused prepaid service as earned and does not change the daily-proration calculation.
12. Management transition and surviving obligations
The client owns and controls its Amazon account throughout the engagement. Ongoing monitoring and management duties end on the documented effective service-end date.
Within five business days after service ends, The AMZ Specialist provides a transition record identifying covered campaigns or workstreams, material completed work, usable in-progress work, open decisions, known immediate risks, and the effective service-end date. No additional closeout fee applies.
If required access is lost, The AMZ Specialist promptly warns the client that campaigns may continue spending and that the client must monitor and control them. Closeout is prepared from available records when access cannot be restored, and requested access removal is distinguished from confirmed removal.
Ending ongoing monitoring and management duties does not end an applicable correction, refund, transition, confidentiality, intellectual-property, payment, limitation-of-liability, dispute, or other obligation that survives by its terms or nature.
13. Duplicate or incorrect charges
A verified duplicate charge or charge made in error will be refunded in full.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us promptly. Include the purchaser’s name, purchase email, transaction date, service purchased, and a description of the issue. Do not send a full payment-card number, password, or other sensitive authentication information.
14. Refund processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. The AMZ Specialist initiates an undisputed refund within five business days after it becomes due under the applicable service terms.
After initiation, posting time depends on Stripe, the applicable card network, and the bank or card issuer and is outside our control. If a refund cannot be completed to the original payment method, we will work with the client and payment provider to determine an appropriate alternative.
15. Payment disputes
Please contact us first if you believe a charge is incorrect so we can review it promptly. This request does not waive or limit any lawful right to dispute a payment with a card issuer or payment provider.
16. Policy versions and changes
The version of this policy identified in an accepted agreement governs that engagement unless the parties expressly amend it in writing. Later public changes or rollbacks apply prospectively and do not alter an accepted agreement or reduce rights that have already arisen.
